ICC

Across 2025, I worked on multiple ICC tournaments including the Champions Trophy, World Test Championship, and Women’s World Cup. Each tournament had its own visual language while operating within the larger ICC brand system.

Role

Freelance Art Director | Multi-tournament engagement

BACKGROUND

Working through Red Lantern, I operated as a freelance Art Director across these tournaments. I was responsible for visual direction on key assets, execution on priority pieces, and guiding other designers on typography, lighting and compositional consistency.

  • The challenge

Each tournament came with different colours, layouts, and styles, while core ICC elements needed to remain consistent. Live match moments required fast turnaround, accuracy and clarity. The challenge was moving between tournaments without flattening their individual identities.

SOLUTION

  • What I did

I led visual direction across player quotes, team groupings, scorecards, milestones and post-match moments. Certain live formats were structured for speed, while campaign-led or narrative pieces were handled with custom direction. I supported other designers by setting visual benchmarks and helping resolve technical challenges under tight timelines.

  • Why it mattered

The work required rapid context switching without loss of control. Deliverables were executed consistently across multiple tournaments, languages and pressures, reinforcing trust and repeat engagement across ICC properties.
